|Shooting Star . . .
||[Oct. 20th, 2004|08:33 pm]
In the first clear night in a few days, a shooting star streaked across the Los Angeles sky.
Beautiful things appear to those who watch.
yes indeed. But dont you wish for more rain..?
It rained mildly all last night and most of the day.
It was nice . . . :D
In Michigan, it can drop 30 degrees in less than 30 minutes.
I kind of like the gentle climate.
Oooh, I love stuff like this.
I've seen 2 in the last month and I've never seen more than one in such a short time.
Can't see much in this sky lately anyhow as it's been raining for a week here in IL. ;)
My mom told me it's pretty cold in Michigan right now . . .
I love the shooting stars.
Yeah, doesn't Michigan have pretty brutal winters in terms of COLD temps?
Man oh man, ya know it has felt almost warmer outside than in our big old house, yikes!
Wesside MI gets the lake effect . . . it's a harsh winter, but it's worse in Kalamazoo.
The UP . . . bleh.
Still, it's better than northern Canada and Alaska. :D
Yeah, Chicago gets all that lake effect snow and stuff but it's not as bad I'm sure.
My ma laughs at people around because New York winters were so bad in certain places and then IL folks walk around thinking it is so harsh and unbearable;)
But me, I wish it could be summer all year round.
Ahhh, I can wish, I can wish:)
