Last Meals for the First Time. [Dec. 10th, 2004|10:15 pm]
Sauce1977

My friend Brad was on the way to a housewarming party, and he called me at the right time to get something to eat. I was hungry, and he picked me up from the apartment to go to Astro Burger on Melrose.

I had always passed by the Astro Burger, but this evening was the first time to dine.

I consumed two double-cheeseburgers with a large order of french fries and a large Mr. Pibb. Once again, Brad marveled at my ability to consume. I mentioned that I ate 6 granola bars for breakfast. I'm unique in this way, and he loves it.

The food tasted great. Los Angeles featured a rather warm day, and the evening did not require the light jackets. Of the features of Los Angeles that I will miss, one of them will be the weather.

Michigan's weather patterns are rather volatile in comparison. Approaching the freezing point in Los Angeles is a rarity and a possible catastrophe; in Detroit, I will enter into the most notorious and completely shitty part of the season for horrible weather. The weather most definitely affects my mood, and I was most thankful for the static pattern of Los Angeles. Warm, arid, and constant good weather with an occasional rain shower did wonders for my soul.

I am a man that lacks motivation. Negative motivation does not work with me, and I am a bit scared of my future. However, I hope that there will be brighter futures for all of us.

I've been there a few times. The girl who did my tattoos used to be my best friend, she lived really close to that place and since they have Mr Pibb we went a few times. Good food.

Oh, those burgers were delicious.

I grew up next to a neighbor's family . . . they were Greek. I knew all about the spinach pies and grape leaves, but I had to taste their burger . . . after all, it is "Astro Burger." :D

I kind of enjoy the Dr. Pepper-like variant.

I don't like sweet alcohols, but I do love my sugary pop every now and then. My favorite usually would be a Pepsi.

Jim, my best friend and former roomate, is literally hooked on Diet Cherry Coke.

He buys cases of the stuff.

the weather effects me badly too.
it's pretty crummy here right now, as well.

i feel similar to how you do right now..

speaking of raccoons. today on my way to school i saw one climbing a fence and it stopped to look at me. i remembered the whole trapped thing and got a little paranoid it would jump off the fence and kick the crap out of me.. because it was kind of trapped.. but i had to walk by.

i am crazy.
the end.

We're all blind to the other, no matter how hard we try.

Crazy . . . living in a reality that clearly does not exist. There are few who do that, and I doubt you are one of them.

Re: A'la Ozzy

Yeah, it has to be done.

There has to be a way I can make some honest and decent wages to build up to return to Los Angeles.

By honest and decent, I mean the avoidance of taking a job where they complain and write you up for an extended bathroom break.
