Detroit Languishes in Heat-Wave. [Jun. 9th, 2005|02:45 pm]

[In the Moment |Sizzle]

2:45 PM, June 9th, 2005 . . . Detroit sports a 91°F (33°C). It is . . . not too muggy, yet.

2:45 PM, June 9th, 2005 . . . Los Angeles sports a 74°F (23°C).

ASDF. JKL;. GH.

I have to stay in the home row. The heat commands it.

it's only 86 in North Carolina today.

If the humidity weren't so . . . humid, then I'd be happy enough to do things in the yard.

I went out to water the grass, and man, my skin looks dark brown in the shade.

it isn't as warm here, but it is probably a bit more humid. It was more humid last night/yesterday.

At this point, I'm just staying cool inside the house.

It's still in the 90s, but it won't get pretty thick until later this evening when the heat rises from the concrete.

The humidity hurts the most.

At night, even in cities, the wind often dies. This also adds to the discomfort.

I wish mother nature would give FL a break.
