If I see another raving lunatic post about Land of the Dead being spectacular, it won't be the first time.

Who's Next?

Who's Next?

It's not so much the quality or non-quality of the film as the fact that I noticed what seemed to be 15,000 comments of "ROMERO IS PURE GENIUS FOR LAND OF THE DEAD."

Few of anything rarely can be deemed 'genius' until hind-sight is attained.

I grow tired of wading through my friends page to see endless rantings and ravings of shit from the horror community.

Kids tend to know shit about anything.

Adults who could find this film so amazing right away probably fall under the curve for IQ.

The comments were deleted.

I started off with a blanket comment, something along the line (or exact) with "The movie and the article can go to hell."

Later, I checked again on a further scan . . . it was the person's article, I guess.

Then, a wave of "Oh Yes! We LOVE the movie followed, and that was too much, especially after I noticed one of my comments deleted.

So, I started a little bit of a game, and another was deleted.

Then, I finished the job with responses of "Fuck you" and "Fuck this community" . . . to which I promptly deleted, saving anyone but myself the total joy.

Petty? Yes.

Childish? Age 3 comes to mind.

Would I advocate this behavior? Absolutely not.

Totally worth it? When you're in a bummin' mood and can't stand the stupidity on a particular day and the mood hits you right, why yes, you're damn right it was.

Yeah, I normally would, if I wasn't in such a foul mood.

Apparently, I can't be nice 100 percent of the time.

Your tags rock.

They made me laugh, even though you don't seem in a laughey mood.

Autopsy of Bad Day.

I finally got over my shitty mood.

Inside my mind, I screamed, "What have I done?"

1) I didn't pay attention to the person's post. All I saw was one giant fucking exclamation about how Land of the Dead was so great. I figured it was a cut-n-paste of an article.

2) When it turned out to be the person's article, I noticed I was the first one to comment. I exclaimed that it was a piece of shit (article included). 2nd whoops.

3) When my comments turned up missing, and someone went anonymous in non-direct comment about me, I figured it was either the person who wrote the post, or maybe it could have been the mods. Number 3 is where this becomes a game.

There are many ways to respond. The failure of response is also a response. When it gets cute, that's when it becomes a challenge. Internet arguments are retarded, but people love to play games . . . regardless.

I wasn't so much annoyed at the person as I was the massive response to this film. As pierce mentioned, he expected a post apocalypse.

To a certain extent, all praise is like dick-sucking. It's great when done by the right people, but when 15,000 people line up and start a blowjob train, that's when you step back, and you see that some of it is totally sloppy, and some of the suckers are biters.

In sum, I fucked up. Captain McBad-Back screwed the pooch.

I am not going back to that place. I guess I win in one way. Thanks be to the person who posted which started the chain reaction of my exit.

Re: Autopsy of Bad Day.

Yup, it's the internet drama thingy. The most ancient of feuds. Kicks your ass every time!

People feel free to say things they normally wouldn't back up with an elbow.

Well, I say, eff those people, there are billions more where they came from. Actually, there are probably fewer than that, as most people have more than one username. So we'll say maybe half that figure. Still, it's a lot.

"Blowjob train" - that is so awesome. That's what I'm going to call my workplace from now on!

Flip-Flop: Don't Try This Politically

If I feel strongly about a comment, I will back it up with whatever I can.

I rarely take the internet serious. After all, we're all under such SERIOUS BUSINESS online that we have to get around to some serious argument every once in a while.

Fucking "Land of the Dead" SUCKED. FUCKING SUCKED. It isn't even worthy of standing with the previous three entries. It is shite. Complete utter shite. I say "shite", yeah, that's right.

This whole Summer, with the exception of "Batman Begins" has been utter shit at the movies. "Fantastic Four" needs to deliver, and I think it WILL.

Everyone who says "War of the Worlds" and "Land of The Dead" (which has made only 10 million at the Box Office, as opposed to "HERBIE: FULLY LOADED", which has made 12) can suck my cock. No teeth.

You're not the only Romero-fan to come out with this sentiment. You had good reason to say it, and say it you did.

I look at news involving the production. Whenever there is published talk about set problems like hiatus, director squabbles, and the like, it amounts to me thinking that if the movie was that much of a quality work in progress, such creative frustration tends not to appear.

There are exceptions. Gilliam goes crazy with his works. There's always trouble. Romero's a particularly partly-pissy individual, and I can understand that ethic. I don't have a problem with disagreements at work, especially if the disagreements are legitimate.

There are a lot of people that would like to fully-load L. Lohan. I'm not one of them.

I'm not going to go suck my own dick or anything, either. I am a shitty person for shitting on something I thought was a retarded article reprint with no personal interjection. I think the high rating included with it threw me off the fact that it was a personal review done for it.

But how could ANYONE in their right mind say it's "good"? HOW is that possible?

If you market it, it will earn.

Well, every film, to me, has merits, especially if I can perform an autopsy of what went wrong.

That's just me.

I do hate certain films, and we're all a bunch of subjective animals.

Some people love stuff enough to hump and make their own sequels.
