Congratulations, Nebraska.

The 32-28 victory in the Alamo Bowl capped a perfect season of mediocrity for the Michigan Wolverines, a team so majorly hyped in the pre-season that in the laughable end, they'll probably manage to finish out of the Top 25.

Thank you, jetpropel/ladainiac. Had I never followed your advice, I wouldn't have tuned into the game in the 4th, when Nebraska cut the Michigan lead to 28-23, which ultimately progressed to making every Wolverine hopeful's head explode. Never suggest that shit again . . . I learned a lesson today. When my gut tells me no, I shouldn't say yes.

It's official.

7-5 finish . . . craptastic!

Horrid image which reminds me of 2005 Michigan Wolverines football . . . the Goatse Danish.

Representation of the horrid Goatse, in danish form.

Then, people say the wrong things to me . . . priceless.

Kris, I'm going to eat the flesh of an animal in your honor.

In other news, this part of the web should be jumpin' over the Alamo Bowl.

The Goatse Danish should also be awarded to the Sun Belt officials. Apparently all that sun from the Sun Belt has made their eyes go blind.

That said, Michigan choked away a 10 point lead, they deserved to lose, lol.

They sure did.

I'm not going to defend bad calls, but I only get really upset over a bad call if it's against a dominant team that has really earned the right to the benefit of the doubt.

Also, whining incessantly about bad calls doesn't change the fact that they were made. Carr tried his arguments, and they didn't work.

Sun Belt probably started to grow tired of Carr. Whatever he said really stepped up the benefit for the Cornhuskers.

The stadium . . . it looked like a home crowd of Nebraska fans, lol.

BC almost blew a 27 point lead in the Computers Bowl, but thankfully they held on so I wouldn't be in the same boat as you. Carr should definately just quit/get fired for blowing a 10 point lead to Bill Callahan.

Well, Callahan's not a bad coach though . . . pulling off WC at a school that ran the option forever . . . it's a tough task, and he did it in short order.

BC will miss Kiwi.

Wasn't that held in Boise's home stadium?

That kind of crap has to stop. If Boise can't make the nut without having every advantage, then maybe 1AA is better for their gimmick.

BC should never have to play against these Johnny-Come-Lately-Piece-of-Who-Gives-a-Damn schools.

I didn't know about that part of the story!

They actually were trying to win one for a kid who died?

Wow.

What I don't like about this finish . . . no one's going to be putting it all on Carr, but the fact remains . . . even if all are against a team, refs, everyone . . . gotta pull out that win. That team had enough to do it, and they choked the whole 4th.

Carr's not worth looking back, if they let go, even if the next guy were to have trouble.

DAMN.
I mean...just damn...
I would turn my back on sports right now were it not for the Dolphins nice finish and the Pistons dominance over everyone and their 4th cousin's mama.

Miami will be touching head-to-head with Detroit, all things unchanged, in the 2nd season. I bank on it. Riley makes that team a monster.

A lot of people would just throw it all away and not watch, all x-country. Detroit? Like Philly, it's different.

One thing people don't understand about sports . . . with regard to Detroit . . . we will destroy our own, especially if they're not cutting it in a dubious way.

I just get pissed when this town gets on the case of the wrong guys. As far as I'm concerned, the Ill Syndicate and the Fords need a one-way ticket into daily smears in the papers.

If you actually watched the game

Nebraska's 12th man...the officials sure as hell helped Nebraska win the game.

I watched all I needed to see.

I tuned in at 28-23 in the 4th, Mr. Ryan Cohen, if that is who you actually are.

When one makes a decision, never look back on it.

Mariucci's not looking back on his failure. At least, if he's a professional, then he shouldn't.

Carr has got to go. End of story.

It's my last glimpse of Michigan football. I'm a bitch like that.

Just think, they gave you a glimmer of hope when they beat Penn State on the last play
