MDC and I were talking about you on Friday, wondering where you were, lol.
"That crazy fucker."
"Son of a bitch. I don't like that cocksucker. What a douche."
"Where the hell is that jackass, anyway?"
"I don't know, but I miss him."
Sorry to hear that. Hope you feel better soon.
It could be worse.
A guy I knew fell hundreds of feet off a mountain. Cracked skull, among other ligament and bone damage. His recovery was probably as long as my situation, but he probably had a ton more trouble, plus permanent damage like speech slurs and tics from the noggin trauma.
i never mentioned this, but my dad has rhuemetoid arthritis ...its really bad. he's had it my whole life. he has had a total hip replacement and both knees replaced (one knee he even had to get replaced twice. longer story).
anyway, i know what its like. i hope yours is not severe and will eventually get better.
Mine was brought forth from injury. I think it's the lesser kind . . . sounds like your dad's got the inherited version . . . swelling, surgery.
right, so in a way, it could be much worse. It is just good that you should get better over time.
I have my fingers, toes, and spine crossed.
I'm pretty certain I have it too; and after I spent 18 solid hours moving all of our crap to our new apartment and woke up the next day feeling like I had spent a week vacationing in Abu Graib, I've been perpetually sore and achey in all my joints 96% of my waking hours.
I've requested to see an orthopedist. Joy.
Physical therapy will show you just what kind of stretches and routines are right for your situation. They'll also give you a good workout, if they're worth the money.
I did it for six weeks, and I feel at this point . . . uncomfortable around my mid-spine, that's the current mode. I used to feel a mountain of pain, for some time. There's a definite improvement.
Good to hear man- Get better-
Hey sauce, good to see you're still alive. Hang in there with that arthritis.
Are we gonna have the big crazy posts in nflfans
for the draft again?
Do feel better. Don't go and die on us.
It's a way better Do list than Cosmo can provide!
Plus, there's plenty of Knicks drama to digest.
Just remember, Jerome "Junk Yard Dog" Williams is now a community representative of the Toronto Raptors.
Isiah loved him, but not for approximately 7 million a year. Yet, the buyout still leaves him on the books.
Yikes! My dad has arthritus. My mother made him go to a Chinese Witch doctor in Portland who gave him herbs and did accupuncture. It seems to have helped him as much or more than the medications.
I considered acupuncture, but so far, the exercise bike, stretch routines, and isometrics have been helping immensely.
I had noticed.
Glad you're OK.
I'll be OK too, because I'm getting married in 3 weeks. You might have missed that post :oP
Happy marriage to you guys!
Oh man, I've been wondering about you. It's been a while since you've been on... Glad to hear you're okay, or will be okay, or someone's okay, or we're all in Oklahoma or something.
Arthritis does suck. You have my sympathy. Quit hunching over the computer! The internet is the devil!
My amazement never ceases.
Keep your head up, too.
sorry to hear about your problems.
i was wondering where you were.
Glad to hear you're not amongst the undead, sir.
Glad to hear you are okay
Welcome back. now the internets is complete.
The internets needs more Knicks drama.
That shit is better than Seinfeld and anything Terrell Owens has ever done, to date.
hahahaha the knicks. yeah. thats some good drama there.
i feel for larry brown.
