I'm hoping I'm not out of my mind for using Bill the cat. That character seemed to be somewhat perfect to use.

Bill the cat looked dead, but he was still alive.

Berkeley Breathed's comics, in my opinion, were loads more humorous than the cartoon it sort of emulated . . . "Doonesbury."

Trudeau and whoever did "Modesty Blaise" pretty much are on par with each other. Also, I really hate pollitical comic strips that don't involve half-dead cats.

And screw Trudeau for rendering a completely bland caricature of Hunter S. Thompson.

It has a bouquet to it, and Bill the cat looks dead, but he actually wasn't.

It is a glorious thing to be Bill the cat.

However . . .

You can't get him too upset, for obvious reasons.

Yes, they are, because they truly are undead, and they have a thirst for live flesh.

Bill just "acks" a lot.

You and Schrody may have more in common than you originally appear to possess.

You'll never know unless you open the box.

PS, Grammar Round 2 Final Super Premium Edition

Would I be well off-track if I thought that because the cat was both alive and dead, there really was no point to opening the box to discover the state of the cat, and while one should open the box to discover the state of the cat, the fact that the cat is alive and dead just spikes my laziness and lack of desire to open the box and find out, even though technically, by not opening the box, I will, over time, have directly and surely rendered the cat dead?

Not if it's ImmortaCat!

(I said *snore*. You should have understood that. And so should I have.)

(No babies for me for now, thanks. But I'm touched. Not there. Nice touching. Wait, that still sounds wrong. Okay, no touching. Well, touching, but no touching. In the box. Yessss, the box.... must.... sleep....)

Flattery won't get you anywhere... that requires opening a box.
