I've seen these episodes far too many times, but I always try to catch a few on SyFy Channel ... The Twilight Zone marathon is back again!

I hope you had a good set of holidays. On with 2011!

Happy New Year!

They just played "The Invaders" not too long ago ... I love that episode because Agnes Moorehead has no dialog, so it's one of the better non-speaking performances in history. And the twist in that story rules.

This block's been great! Now "Living Doll" is on. That doll is awesome. "My name is Talky Tina, and I'm going to kill you!!!"

Happy New Year to you too.

I can't believe I was awake @ midnight but I did it. I didn't see The Twilight Zoe Marathon. One episode that really got under my skin was (Burgess Meredith) the guy who survived a nuclear bomb (I think) and he thought he was all set to survive alone and unbothered with all his books .... only he lost his glasses and could no longer see to read!

I was horrified! lol

I see someone else mentioned living doll ... is that the mannequin episode?

The first time I saw that episode, it did the same thing! "Time Enough at Last," was the Meredith ep. It's my favorite!

The mannequin episode is "The After Hours," where the lady is in a department store, somewhat confused, looking to purchase a thimble for her mother ... they played that one too, during the marathon.

Yes! I felt so bad for the woman who was a mannequin, afterall. Classic!

I still think of Alfred Hitchcock's "The Birds" when I see a large gathering of birds. It doesn't really freak me out like it use to, but I still think of that movie. One part that just cracks me up is when the woman is driving up to Bodego Bay with the lovebirds, and with no dialogue (obviously, she's alone with birds) we hear the screech of tires as she rounds the curvy bends in the road and all you see are the lovebirds swaying left or right! I'm chuckling just thinking about it - no idea why it makes me laugh but it does!
