For about 15 years or so probably, why it's the WWF Do Not Disturb Sign!

Side 1
Side 1

and

Side 2
Side 2

When the Wrestlemania came to the Silverdome in Pontiac, MI back in the late 80s, I was convinced that the wrestling was real.

Saturday nights, if it wasn't SNL, it was WWF action.

Priceless material possessions. An all important personal record of our youth. What else will we have when we grow old and loose our minds.

dude!!! i had one of those! of course it got replace by my 'king on his throne' bathroom one. and yeah WWF was the shit back in the day. back when it was good. i even had all the action figures and my friend had the ring and we'd do tag-team matches between hulk/andre the giant and randy 'macho man' savage [oh yeaaaaaaaaaaaaah]/big john stud.

My favorite was the Hulk.

I probably had one or two of the action figures.

I specifically remember watching WWF, and standing on my twin bed. Suddenly, when one of the wrestlers would come off the top corner buckle for a body slam (what were some of those moves called?!? oh no I can't remember!), I'd then go up in the air, with my arm folded out with the point of the elbow pointing out and down, and then kazooo0oooom! I'd bounce on the mattress.

Being a kid was fun. If I did that now, and someone saw me, they'd be tempted to call the rubber room people.

Did you ever see Rowdy Roddy Piper's movie, They Live?

That movie was one of the better low budget sci-fi films I have ever seen.

It's also a great appearance by a WWF performer, in the spirit of Andre the Giant's role in The Princess Bride.

The Rock is pretty talented, and he blows these two old-schoolers out of the water.
