Shrek 2 [May. 21st, 2004|04:00 pm]

I watched the first Shrek a while back . . . it was a rather entertaining film.

Shrek 2 is a much more enjoyable story presentation than Troy. In fact, the quality comedy makes for great laughs.

The guffaws begin from the very start of the film. I enjoyed the comedy in Shrek's escape scene with Pinocchio.

The story behind Shrek 2 is rather solid. It's a timeless and workable well-played story, and the animation makes for a fresh atmosphere to this oft-done style of yarn.

2 days have not come to a close, and Shrek 2 already grossed over 20 million in box office . . . after a huge 1st day.

Money-Maker

To say that in short comparison, the makers of Troy are a little bummed, that's an understatement.

Shrek 2 is their ultimate buzzkill.

I'm without Dreamweaver or any flash-animation programs!

I do make great use of my Photoshop.

I liked the first Shrek.

At least the first four times I saw it. Then, after that, if we weren't doing anything in class we'd just watch Shrek.
Then my little brother started watching it over and over.
And, yeah.

I lost my love for that movie. *sigh*

All movies can become tired if played too often.

I save Star Wars, the 1977 one, for a more infrequent play . . . though, I've watched that film countless times . . . I do love it.

That's the same with me and Monty Python and the Holy Grail. The silliness never gets old...

I should!

I'm learning the inner depths of ratings vs. game results for my football video games.

After tweaks, the two go very well, hand-in-hand.

Hehe I haven't seen Shrek 2 yet, but I saw Troy. I thought it was pretty good, then again I'm not a history lover so didn't care about the "historical inaccuracies" that I hear about. All I understand is that even though I dislike war and history, the mix actually sat quite well with me in this movie.

On the other hand I did see Shrek 1 and loved it. Dying to see Shrek 2 :-D

Troy is like any major Hollywood feature . . . it is touched by the bonzo realms of Los Angeles's very American desires for Big, Bigger, and John Wayne.
