Busy Days, Tired Nights. [Jul. 16th, 2004|12:00 am]
Sauce1977

Imagine petroleum-based wood stain all over your hands, wrists, and arms, from a last-minute attempt to finish 15 steps of stairs for a 9 AM shoot the next day.

I've never been a stranger to hard work, as long as the work is justified.

Also, it's fun to watch the progress of what was once an idea in someone's head.

Brad's thesis film goes well.

The stain stuff is rather sticky before it dries. If it gets on skin, it stays sticky.

I could have caught footballs better than Jerry Rice that night.

The amount of work put into film shoots is unlike what I ever imagined.

I heard of the acting schedules of 14-16 hour shoots, but these guys were rolling from probably 9 AM to 9 PM today . . . for a thesis (student) film.

The only part of my body without much tone is my gut. Everything else, the arms and legs, they're getting rock solid in the muscles closest to the bone.

Endurance . . . also, I work smart, not hard. There's no reason to kill on something when it can be done with the least resistance.
