Believe it or not, the one image I remember from Naked Lunch remains the "teakwood-dick" aliens molesting and killing people . . .

Whether or not it was true that Burroughs wrote this novel in a constant drug-stupor in Morocco in the mid-1950s . . . the work of stream-of-conscious and imagery is rather amazing to behold.

I loved it.

Wow, yeah, this is like the cut-up method but even better, because all the words are plucked contextually from the ether. This is great. I'm playing with it. It's like an oracle. The other hacks on this page are cool, also - I like the idea of the "word colour".

The only thing not generated from the string is the first three words of my paragraph.

Like most technology, the human remains the initiator, and the AI follows.

I tried an initiator more than once . . . the results change, every time.
