I'm not calling such people a bunch of fools, but for that price, why not go for a real chandelier?
Seriously . . . a good chandelier can run about 500 US dollars. Why get a lamp shade with a chandelier printed on it? Even if it's easier to clean, hahaha, I still have this feeling that it would be in any Salvation Army in about 10-15 years. Like, what one would use to make their place trendy, for dirt cheap.
That has to be like at least a 200 percent markup. There's no way that thing costs anything close to that amount to make.
As for artistic value, that escapes me, on this particular piece.
