I'm not calling such people a bunch of fools, but for that price, why not go for a real chandelier?

Seriously . . . a good chandelier can run about 500 US dollars. Why get a lamp shade with a chandelier printed on it? Even if it's easier to clean, hahaha, I still have this feeling that it would be in any Salvation Army in about 10-15 years. Like, what one would use to make their place trendy, for dirt cheap.

That has to be like at least a 200 percent markup. There's no way that thing costs anything close to that amount to make.

As for artistic value, that escapes me, on this particular piece.

Chandeliers are only not cool if they fall on you, like in Clue.

I understand the irony, but like plastic and metal wood-paneling finish, I'd rather have the real deal.
