[In the Moment |Ha-Ha Smile]
[Special Music |Kelis feat. Nas - In Public]

Society teaches people to not show true emotion.

From found_online, a link brought me to a BBC Science & Nature quiz to guage how well one spots a fake smile.

Find Out How Well You Spot Fake Smiles.

I scored 9 out of 20 correct.

I know why I got that score.

I am a very poor judge of character! I learned that the day I realized my marriage was a loveless sham. Sorry I really need to stop bitching about that..eeek

Meh, No Biggie.

Character is more than a smile.

I purposely hold on to genuine smiles of my own because I feel that too short of a smile, however genuine, tends to look forced.

Plus, most people can't tell when people are faking, including a large majority of men who think that 2 minutes of full-on humping without any pretense translates into a fun time.

Re: Meh, No Biggie.

Smiles, words, it's all stuff I suck at judging.
Ignorance is not bliss, but neither is being paranoid about who really cares or not. I will go with the intense gut instincts from now on (even though those are small and few!)

I never open my mouth when I smile. I always have itty bitty smirks.

2 minute wonders LOL Guys like that suck. I guess 2 minutes of bad humpy isn't as bad as 2 hours of it *shrug*

Re: Meh, No Biggie.

That's true.

I think to break of the paranoia, know in your heart that people who don't like you or feel like you've hurt them . . . like I mentioned before, if they don't come out and say whatever, then it never happened, but also, if they're trying to hurt you and they don't own up to it, they're shitheads. Neither situation should be that much of a concern because those folks end up receiving just as much deceit and injustice in their own lives. I mean, how can you do anything about a possible wrong if someone doesn't let you know about it?
