I scored 14/18 as well. We are the champions.
Those games make me smile.
I wouldn't call it "sucking," wink wink, nudge nuzzle. ;D
You have to remember, I was never human. All I did was play video games in a hamster-like cage for 18 years.
was that what your Jedi training from master Kenobi entailed? or was that after you odnned the dark suit and began training under Darth Sidious?
I trained myself.
I am a single copy of a genetic structure your species will never completely understand.
12/18...i'd never even herad of some of them.
I think I played all of the 18 at some point in my life.
I do remember running into "Combat" years after the 2600/Intellivision age was obsolete. Someone had it, and I remember playing it.
As most species use forms of non-fatal combat to build each other for life, such is the human animal.
i missed stupid easy ones like zelda low life and a few others but i got the weird tough ones. I did get Duckhunt though LOL! I hadnt heard of all those games of the 54 listed in each question I probably only remember like 24.
I think they designed the quiz so most people would get around 6-8.
Given that anyone born past the year of 1985 probably would never have encountered more than half the games unless they had an older sibling and/or access to an emulator, this is how I feel they would only reach 6-8.
I, of course, am a master cheat at this quiz, since I grew up in this era and probably should have had 18/18, if it wasn't for all the beer, cigarettes, and other Tom Foolery.

GOT THE HUMANOID (v.2.0)
Those two I did nail, but it's funny that you mentioned Gauntlet because I played the shit out of that game on NES.
All bow to the great samverick
, for samverick
has pwned the most answers for correct! L33t be upon you, for now!
Not bad for not thinking! Ashamed to admit I got the ET question.
That's one I missed!
I never had access to that one, and sadly, I only read about it online, so I never really played the emulator, either.
... had two copies.
Oooh, you scoundrel!
That is truly wonderful. ;D
Not really. Here are two reasons:
1. For an Atari 2600 game there really was no reason for such frivolity.
2. The game was so bad, they buried millions of unsold copies in a landfill.
It is my embarassing factoid that my family had two of them. One was way more than enough and way harder to stomach than a SNOIL sign.
I knew of that game plus many others which met a landfill destiny after the 1984 game industry market crash.
I don't identify the lack of quality with that gaming experience with your family's taste, given that the market swindles literally everyone constantly in a number of ways.

Ah, I scored the same as AllyaNeedisRick (same time period, lol?).
10/18...I too missed some stupid ones. Did get Duckhunt. Heh... NES in its prime. Ah, very fun game sir. Very fun.
Love that Duck Hunt.
I was a tad disappointed they didn't represent River City Ransom, but this was mostly the Atari 2600/Intellivision/Commodore 64 age.
i need to take this quiz when i get home...i cant do it at work...how much do you want to bet i'll get all 18 right?
I raise you an Unsolved Mysteries mp3.
