Words that make one pass your journal entry, off the top of the head (not inclusive to me, non-definitive):

I, yesterday, was, today, were, tomorrow, that, have, first, had, last, these, those, like, say, here, told, me, there, especially, always, this, never, that, nobody, think, everybody, nomenclature, my, everyone, so, time, can, lot, can't, little, don't, random, does, not, nor, shan't, wasn't, whilst, dear, important, go, went, going, gone.

Note to self:

There's nothing quite like cleaning a bathroom at 4 AM because of a random stack overflow.

image replaced by friendly, sterile, sanitary.

Smells of bleach still haunt my olfactory works.

Thank the heavens for a tiled bathroom floor.

Note to you:

Advice is usually left, but I give it, regardless.

Never, ever, never, ever, carpet your bathroom floor.

Things to attract one's attention to your post (not inclusive to me, non-definitive):

David Hasselhoff

Here's looking at you, Nowitzki.

. . . and . . .

There's nothing like a celebrity with tits.

Lindsay Lohan

. . . and . . .

LARGE CAPITAL LETTERS, sound, sex, war, sexuality, crisis, MySpace, fashion, crime, being a woman on the internet who admits to enjoying sex, men, attack, show tits, food, hot or not, #1-rated-show-in-America, death, #1-at-the-box-office, bodily function, lying liars caught in a lie, politics, bills, women, taxes, stepping on legos, generally-accepted-accounting-principals, on-the-down-low, alcohol, atrocity, Hitler, futbol, religion.

Never fail to talk about the other.

If all else fails, reveal secrets.

Captain Kirk, chill. It's okay.

Hey, check this out -

http://www.applian.com/avscs/

Basically, this entire package allows you to grab anything and everything from your video and sound card . . .

I've been monkeying with Replay Music 2, and I was able to nab a bunch of mp3s off of some Mr. T stuff from YouTube . . . excellent tool if you have a copy-protected CD, too, that won't allow infinite rips . . . circumvents everything with an untraceable rip from your cards, amazing stuff.

how is the quality though stealing the video from youtube? in most cases the quality is already compressed...

ive been trying to find the perfect tool for dumping video from dvds and video tapes to my computer. i want to start remixing footage (like all the funny internet comedyheads are doing now)

i want to make a parody of the Goonies using Lord of the rings footage and splicing them together. I have editing tools, i need capturing tools.

You gave me a tip once before and i already forgot what it was!

Yeah, I have some editing tools here, too.

I've been looking for an easy way to get scenes off dvds without the time-consuming capture image . . . that's a long process . . . pause, ctrl-i, save, pause, ctrl-i, save . . .

The Replay Music worked great on DVD for mp3 output . . . can save all the way up to 320 kbps . . . plus wav version, too . . . on YouTube, all I was doing was getting some audio from a Mr. T cartoon and an interview he did with some UK A-Team fanatic . . . fantastic snippets I got from those mp3 files, yes . . . I envision it as a perfect soundscape cultivator for myself, getting those sounds that you hear places, putting them in Audition or Sound Forge, making them into something all-new.

If you have time, can you try out their video-capturing feature?

I've used the trial version of Replay Music, so my only theory is that if Replay's that good, then the rest of the stuff's gotta be good.

Bonus for me if the video capturing allows a save to quicktime or gif format . . . I'll have to investigate, myself, too.

Replay-Screencast seems to be the one with the DVD capability . . . still looking through the bundle . . .

On 2nd glance, doesn't look like DVD capable, unless it considers the video card stream through wmv to be . . . wmv, or a recordable window . . .

PS

also allows you to tape internet radio, any stream . . . if someone was doing a local show, you could rip that show into wav or mp3.
