The picture shows a rabbit with something that it intends to carve.
What is that?
On first glance, the color suggested grapefruit, but I don't see the rounded bottom to it. Also, no grapefruit I've seen has such a wide partition-looking part of the inner fruit to it . . . maybe a pomegranate, but that's no pomegranate.
Then the subject of pies came up, and the people who commented all seem to believe it's a meat pie.
What really caught me wasn't the object. It was the comments from the people.
Only MySpace has such a larger batch of morons. That's supposed to be scary? LOL @ "blood on the face." That's shittily-detailed whiskers. The thing is looking up, happy, with a smile. Like it just got whatever kind of food from its momma, and it's grateful and happy and about to not be hungry.
As far as critique of this sculpture, the artist has some anthropomorphic action going on there, with the rabbit using a knife, wearing pants and shoes, and whatnot. Perhaps it could be considered for the surrealist category. I dunno, I just draw things like still lifes with severed thumbs as part of the subjects.
The thing's not scary. That much is certain to me.
Anyway, LOL @ those freaks. If that's scary to them, then they're all bound for the nuthouse. Good riddance.
