Final Season of "The Sopranos" . . . [Jun. 2nd, 2007|03:03 am]

If anyone lost track of what happened in previous years, this is the best refresher I've found.

Unfortunately, to date, the final season . . . lacks.

I can see some good stuff in it, but most of it should have been rolling from the first episode. They took a slow approach in a very short half-season of episodes. Bad idea.

The final two episodes are about to air. I have no great expectations, but the entire ride's been fun, overall.

Oh my God . . . that next to last episode was out of control.

Quality, obviously . . .

But I swear that unless Phil fails completely, this series won't be given the proper send-off.

There are five families in NYC. One, Leotardo's, is starting shit over a rigid 25 percent on a Jersey dumping business.

25 percent? In any kind of deal, isn't a cut past 10-15 percent way too high?

If Phil succeeds in his plans, the other four families are going to watch, scratch their heads, and start to worry about whether or not Phil will take a hard line with them, too.

In the end, if Phil succeeds, then Phil will ultimately fail when the other four families re-populate his family's region and the Jersey region with their guys.
