|The Hits Keep Coming - Milicic to Memphis

Anonymous report of 3 years, 21 million.
That's 12 million too much. Congratulations, Memphis. New GM Chris Wallace just made the first big bullet point on the future resume . . . or so he thought.
Quote Milicic, recently, in reference to international play:
"We'll destroy them all - Spaniards, Greeks, Lithuanians, Russians, Frenches, Italians... All of them! They're good, but we can demolish them all. Spain is not unbeatable. I like to play against Pau Gasol, he's soft. If we win Gold medal in Spain, I'll take my shirt off and then I will jump from Parliament terrasse. After that I dont need anything else in my life". - Milicic shocked Serbian public.
You see, Memphis, a lot of words like this come out of Darko's mouth. He had plenty of training on Detroit's bench. Darko doesn't understand that you have to play well to have a mouth. These gems, though, are something that Darko naturally does well. He has a legitimate purty mouth that spews quotes in the stratosphere for "feed my children" potential.
But the problem is, when it comes to game time, especially in the crucial moments, Darko usually makes a ridiculous decision that would warrant him to keep his mouth permanently shut. Fast forward that link to about 50 seconds into the video. The guy with his back turned to the inbound pass, by the 3-point line nearest Billups, walking off the court while time's still running with him on the floor, in the black shoes, wearing number 31, that's your 21 million dollar man, Memphis. Darko, when defending someone, usually fouls a lot. I guess you can forget about legitimate defense on his resume.
This is the guy who subbed for Tony Battie in Orlando. Who? Exactly.
In sum, he's Bryant Reeves with a mouth.
Say hello to Tall Country for me with a shot of whiskey and your usual 2 AM shotgun salute.
