I've never even heard of a percolator before, but then again, I've never been a huge fan of coffee. You know me. I like to stay healthy and pure.
"Percolated coffee has a distinctive quality and flavor that still has a following." That kind of sounds interesting, though. I don't know. I have enough trouble making my own Ramen. I think I'll stick to that behemoth we have in the kitchen in the rare occasion I need to drink some coffee to stay awake during an early football game.
That might work if my grandma didn't live with me and wasn't already obsessed with buying every new little gadget they make for the kitchen. That tiny room is pulling like 50% of the electricity for this house and that's after I've considered all the electronics I keep in my room. She had bread makers, noodle makers, ice crushers, cheese graters, blenders, all kinds of shit.
Which is completely ridiculous because she's like deathly afraid of computers, is still yet to figure out how to properly work the bright house remote, and doesn't even know how to add people into her phone book.
Besides, any money I manage to save up (which adds up to nothing), is going into a fund for a ticket to a buccaneers game. Percolators will remain a lost treasure for me. Maybe someday when I'm a responsible adult I'll give it a try.
You have a GRANDMOTHER in your midst! MY GOD, dude, she doesn't need instructions. She totally had to have used that appliance. It's not really that complicated either. A ramen-troubled youth could figure it out, really.
You can get one at the flea market for nothing. Since flea markets are a national pass-time in the region, I'm sure you can find one without breaking your dollar menu-aire status.
Speaking of my dollar menu-aire status, are we still thinking about trying a do-over or have we decided we're going to live with the way it turned out?
I got so frazzled towards the end of that draft that I didn't even realize I could start outbidding people again and passed up on a lot of players I wouldn't have minded having for the sake of not paying more than a dollar. I mean, shit. My starting QB is Trent Edwards. No more need be said.
If they got just one really decent screenwriter to hash out a proper 1st-2nd-and-3rd, that number can get even higher. South Park had a good film. The difference . . . they spent ~21 million for a net profit of ~60 million (80 mil gross).
