Youtube's Renegade466 has collected the sounds from the late-80s-early-90s Sega hit, Altered Beast.
Here's a collection of voices from that game I played way too much on the Genesis back in the early 1990s.
Other Altered Beast Youtubes:
Rise From Your Grave (Round 1)
Closed In Upon Me (Round 2)
I'll Be Back (Round 3)
Gaum-Hermer (Boss Theme)
Crystal's Theme (Round Clear) <--- My Favorite
Here is a speed walkthrough of the game, posted by ewrgyjjiu:
@ 3:19 of the video: I C WHUT U DID THAR.
Note: This game could be considered for the Furry Hall of Fame.
2nd Note: Once again, here is a case of video games and music that did not inspire or influence personal behavior from me. I played a lot of this game, but I never felt like putting on an animal suit for sexual activity.
My problem was that it was so short. The speed-attack that's @ the bottom of this post is a testament. 6 minutes for advanced gamers ... is nothing @ all in game time.
Part of why I think it was so short ... Sega seemed to be testing out its new thresholds for game production. Things like "Welcome to your doom" were state of the art at the time. We laugh now because it sounds so tinny, but back then it was a big deal. I remember when that Sega football game came out with voices in-game ... it was the Joe Montana package, that was huge in sports gaming, since EA was basically doing none of that until maybe the mid-late 90s.
My favorite part of this game they don't explore: How you can fight the credits at the end of the game. I love that shit.
I totally forgot about that!
