Move over, Shonn Greene.
Tomlinson's a Jet
2 year deal
J-E-T-S, Jets Jets Jets?
This sure beats the story about Coach Ryan's fight against his fatness.
Probably comes down to touches. I have to think that he'd get 5-8 more plays called for him with the Jets than the Vikings.
Although it's really more bad news for the Vikings because LT is the sort of guy who would fit into what they would want out of a backup.
There's probably no way in hell Shonn Greene gets the start now. That's good because Shonn is a flash in the pan, a horrible player to begin with.
Jets will become the new hated fantasy RB paradise. One week LT will go off for 150 and two TD's, the next week it will be Leon Washington, the next Shonne Greene will get 20 carries.
This is a good move for LT because he'll still be involved in the offense no matter what. In Minnesota if Farf came back he'd get a pittance of touches, and if he didn't his QB is someone terrible. At least he's got the Sanchize in NY.
Yeah, I don't see why Minnesota needs dual-back. Favre or anyone else, that team seems bent on passing a lot.
AP was pretty injury prone in college, but has avoided that rap in the pros so far. He still has buttery digits, though.
Don't speak too soon. One crazy charge into a LB or another, and he's closer to IR-prone than we think. He was ramming into guys too-large to do that last year ... not a good running style, not a good strategy for his lack of density.
Saying it was kind of my passive-aggressive way of trying to jinx him, lol.
I want to be impressed by AP. I'm not. That's where it's always been, for me.
