|Runaway Jury: Good Movie.

Runaway Jury after the horrid Lions game. My friends and I left after the third quarter in what was probably the most uninspired performance these 'pro' players could muster.I went to see |
Runaway Jury had all the mystery and suspense needed to satisfy. There was minimal bloodshed, so that was pretty nice to not have to cringe a lot.
Not that I'm a cringer, but when I know someone's gonna get whacked in an unfair way, I tend to grimace a bit.
They had some great scenes. The characters performed in a plausible way. One of the best scenes was when Hoffman and Hackman verbally went at it in the bathroom after one of Hoffman's witnesses failed to show.
In terms of lawyer films from Grisham's books, this one was probably as good as The Firm, if not better than that one.
There were some flaws, as most films have some. However, they weren't horrible or glaring. Cusack and Wiesz put in a great performance, respectively, and of course Hoffman and Hackman were at the top of their game. They had many bit parts, and they were all done well.
If you have matinee money, this one's perfect to see.
