Pretty sweet little link from Jeff Milner's blog area.
The best song reversed is Led Zeppelin's "Stairway to Heaven," by far the best one.
Others include Queen, Britney Spears, and the infamous Beatles "Paul is Dead" backwards play.

Freaky man. The first time I listened to it without reading the words and I did hear 666 and satan. The rest I couldn't make out.
I wonder whether reading the 'lyrics' causes your brain to interpret the sounds it hears as words. Interesting for sure.
For whatever reason, without looking at the words prior, when I played the snippets, I could make the distinct phrasings.
Sure enough, as I revealed the lyrics, I was surprised to note the transcripts were what registered!
I've worked directly with phone calls from customers over bad analog cell reception . . . maybe I can pick up the words well because my hearing is used to poor clarity.
Or, the stuff is completely random gibberish, and my mind's insatiable need to fit patterns from random takes hold.
