And The Visitors Safely Returned Home. [Jun. 27th, 2004|11:39 pm]
[In the Moment |calmcalm]
[Special Music |The Jimi Hendrix Experience - Wait Until Tomorrow]

The beginning.

After the first night Pink's outing, we had three days to do things.

During this time, I:

1) Showed mom and Michelle the Santa Monica beach and boardwalk on Thursday afternoon.
2) Went with Michelle to a Jimmy Kimmel taping on Thursday night.
3) Showed Michelle a little bit of Hollywood Blvd. after Kimmel on Thursday.
4) Showed mom and Michelle the Larchmont Village on the way to Anaheim Friday morning.
5) Enjoyed Disneyland with mom and Michelle all day Friday.
6) Showed mom and Michelle and myself Rodeo Drive on Saturday afternoon.
7) Organized a great dinner at Fat Fish restaurant with mom, Michelle, Brad, and Karma on early Saturday evening.
8) Showed mom and Michelle the Hollywood Blvd. on Saturday evening.

Mom and Michelle had a great time in Los Angeles.

I went with Jim to see the Moore joint, or should I say, pie-throwing at GWB.

It's a crowd pleaser, and Moore, through the movie houses, accepts all major credit cards and cash. Key Difference between Moore and Average Person with Video Camera . . . the money is collected before the movie plays.

Key reflections on the film:

1) All societies use money to conduct business.
2) War is a way of keeping order.
3) Societies always use the poor to fight the wars.
4) We all gotta get along.
5) Moore let his dislike get in the way of clear presentation.

I enjoyed the film, but I wished for a better execution of the film. The exaggerations were killing my sympathy.

I very well may be a meat popsicle.

It's fricking nuts here today. I'm finishing up my break...2 minutes....and looking at 49 calls waiting. Crazy!

A pilot light was left on last night...so the whole house smelled like gas this morning...not good! Mom fixed the problem though.

Anyway...that's a mini update. I still miss you.
